Channel Tracking is probably the most neglected piece by Publishers. Although one of the most powerful method of tracking your Adsense revenue, very few publishers actually use Channel Tracking. There are two forms of Tracking: URL Tracking and Custom Channel Tracking. Publishers should use URL Tracking to understand which links are visited most frequently by visitors and which pages generate the most revenue.

Custom Channel Tracking allows Publishers to know which Ad format in a particular page gets them the most revenue. Publishers should use a good naming convention for such custom channels so that they could be reused for different domains.
